location, which is located on Bailey Ave/Hwy 55.
Physical Description:
This vacant lot was formerly the
location of the Old Argonne Grade School, kindergarten to sixth
grade. This building burned down in a fire and was never
rebuilt. There is a gravel driveway that leads to the open lot
where the building was located. The Old Argonne Grade School
is in the township of Argonne.
Trespassing Notice:
Do not go on this property.
It is best to view the open lot where the school stood from the
road.
Other Notes:
This building was destroyed in a fire.
All that is left of this location is the open site where the school
once stood.

Paranormal Activity
*When the school closed in
the early 1990s, kids would go up on a dare to write their name
on the wall (in the storage room), and they would see a man
plain as day hanging from the rafter.-SL
*If they did not see this man (presumably the janitor) they
would hear sounds of the rose squeaking on the boards and the
janitor moaning.-SL
*Even after the school has been torn down, people still
see lights on the property.-SL
