From Eau Claire, take Cameron St (west),
and this will turn into Hwy E. Take a left on 890th St
(also named Oakland Rd) (south). Then take a right on 260th Ave
(also called Springbrook Rd) (west). Make a left
on 240th Ave (also called Frosbrooke Rd), and the Boat Landing of 240th Ave will be on the right
side, located in the densely wooded section on 240th Ave.
Physical Description: This small,
isolated boat landing gives people access into the Chippewa River.
Across the river, there is a large island named Happy Island.
Adjacent to that island, there is another island called Pasture
Island. This area is known as the Chippewa Bottoms. It
is possible to see this landing from the road, and there is a small
area for parking next to the boat landing.

three miles southwest (across the river) from this location.
The Boat Landing is located on a haunted road,
Caryville Road.
The Caryville
Cemetery is a mile north of the boat landing. The boat

Schoolhouse.
