Ave north. The Over Look Tower will be on the right side, in
the Mound Hill Park, located on Elk Mound Hill Rd.
Physical Description:
This small, brick tower is on top of a
large hill in the city of Elk Mound. The tower is in the Mound
Hill Park where a windy, two-lane, paved road leads to the tower.
There is parking access at the top of the hill. The tower is
dedicated to US Postal workers and can be distinctly seen from I-94.

only enter when the gate is open.

the
Octagon House Haunted?
*It is believed that someone died
near this area.-SL
*People were permitted to go up to the tower
whenever they wanted and do any kind of activity until a
death occurred in the tower during the 1980s. The
town blocked off the tower and only allowed people to go
up during certain times.-SL
