Driving Directions:
From Elkhart Lake, take Hwy J north.
Take a left on Hwy P and follow this road south as it turns into Hwy
A. Then take a right on Hwy C (west) and then a left on Hwy S
(south)- follow this road south until it ends (inside Glenbeulah).
Then take a right on W Appleton St (west) followed by a left on S
Walnut St which leads to the entrance of the cemetery (straight
ahead). Glenbeulah Cemetery is located at the end of S
Walnut St inside the city of Glenbeulah.
Physical Description:
This cemetery is on top of a hill, which is
surrounded by trees on all sides. There is a gently
sloping driveway which leads to the cemetery (the entrance).
This driveway (a dirt road), which may be used for vehicles, circles
around the cemetery. Many of the markers are older at this
location with lots of them that are in disrepair from vandalism.
These markers are in no particular order, and there are some major
open spaces with no markers. The Glenbeulah Cemetery is very
isolated, quiet, and somewhat spooky- features that make it seem
haunted and also a popular place for reckless/unnecessary activity
that has led to the destruction of the property and its tombstones.
Trespassing Notice:
This cemetery has a strict policy in
accordance to the times that the cemetery is open, which are posted
by the cemetery entrance. Please follow the times
accordingly. Also, if the gate to the cemetery is closed, no one is allowed to enter.
