From Ripon, take Hwy 23 west. From
Hwy 23, take a left on North St. Dartford Cemetery is located
on North St, one section on each side of the street.
Physical Description:
This small cemetery has two sections
that branch from North St which divides the cemetery in two.
There are many older markers with some newer ones, most of them
being sporadically placed. The south section of the cemetery
is surround by moderate amounts of trees. A very small gate
surrounds both sections of the cemetery, possibly to prevent
wondering animals from entering.

Why is
Dartford Cemetery Haunted?
*Dartford Cemetery is an old
cemetery located in town where residents live all around
it. It has been haunted for many years.-SL
*A Native American chief that once ruled and lived in
the Ripon/Green Lake area apparently drowned in the Fox
River as he attempted to swim across the river when he
was intoxicated.-SL
*Other figures that haunt the cemetery are members of a
family. The children of this family died of a
disease, possibly polio.-SL |

Paranormal Activity
*Haunted activities include
sightings of dark figures that look like shadows, and noises can
also be heard.
*Most of these figures are civil war era soldiers and a Native
American chief.-SL
*The other figures that are seen are the children who died from
the same family and are buried in a large stone mausoleum.
At times, people may sit on the roof of this building and they
get pushed off.-SL
*Orbs can also be seen, and feelings of being watched or
followed are sensed.-SL
