Driving Directions:
From the town of Lake Mills, take East Lake St/Hwy B east.  Take a right on Hwy Q (south) and Aztalan State Park will be on left side, located on Hwy Q.

 


Physical Description:
Aztalan State Park is the site of a major Native American settlement.  There are burial mounds and wooden poles standing upright from the ground that show some forms of a permanent settling.  The park is kept clean and the grass is freshly mowed.  The Crawfish River runs through Aztalan State Park in the east.  Aztalan State Park is on the National Register is Historic Places.
Trespassing Notice:
Do not walk on the burial mounds for the respect of those who are buried there.  A state park permit is required to park vehicles and to enter the park.  Aztalan State Park also has specific hours when the area is open and closed.
