Why is the University of Wisconsin-Madison-Science Hall Haunted?

*The fourth floor of this building is supposedly haunted where it is mainly used for storage.-SL

*"Originally home to most of the science departments on campus, Science Hall housed anatomy until the 1950s. Because elevators didn't exist at the time, cadavers to be dissected were brought up to the fifth floor using a pulley and winch system. This, and a number of deaths that occurred during the building's construction, have given Science Hall the distinction of being UW's unofficial haunted house. Rumors about "dumpster chutes" for cadaver disposal are completely false – they were fire escapes that were dismantled during a remodeling in the 80s."-University of Wisconsin-Madison Tour Guide

Alleged Paranormal Activity

*There have numerous sightings of beakers falling off the shelves one by one.-SL
