Driving Directions:
From Menomonie, follow Hudson Rd (west).
Take a left on Hofland Rd (southwest) and take another left on 410th
St (south). Devil's Punch Bowl will be on the left side,
located on 410th St.
Physical Description:
This surreal, geological rarity is found
outside Menomonie. Devil's Punch Bowl is a hollowed out circle
of bedrock where water trickles down the large-scale irregular
shaped rocks. Because of the constant water supply, Devil's
Punch Bowl supports a beautiful variety of vegetation; trees and
vines grow from within the layers of rock. A long, wooden
staircase leads into the inside of Devil's Punch Bowl, and there is
a fenced off trail outside the bowl area to look down upon.
Parking access is located by the road and near the entrance.
