Why is
the
Muskie Lounge and Crab House
(Bourbon Street Grille) Haunted?
*Many employees and customers who
frequent this restaurant believe it to be haunted
through the many years that it has been in business. One
Friday night, a waitress who was known as Marlene
suffered a fatal heart attack where she later died in a
Madison hospital.-GoP |
Alleged
Paranormal Activity
*After Marlene's death,
people at the restaurant began to sense a presence in the
building.-GoP
*Employees and customers would feel a tap on the shoulder where
there would be no one next to them.-GoP
*In a certain part of the restaurant, employees who opened the
restaurant the next day would find the table settings and
seating arranged in a different manner that it was done the
previous night.-GoP
*In 1994, before the Muskie Lounge opened for business,
the then present owner and his partner were alone in the
building where they both heard someone laughing next to them.
Twenty minutes later it happened again.-GoP
*Remodeling the Muskie Lounge was often stalled by odd power
failures and tools and materials that would mysteriously
disappear.-GoP

opinion known on menu changes by tossing pots and pans when the
restaurant is empty. Marlene also states her opinion when
bands play at the bar. If she likes the band, she helps
them out be unpacking the band's equipment.-GoP

This is a website where the webmaster, Troy Taylor, has
compiled haunted claims from articles, books, and other
literary sources and has listed the supposed
haunted locations in a specific state (Wisconsin).
Troy Taylor has not investigated these claims and will not
be held responsible for those who partake in their own
investigation. Keep in mind that some of these places have trespassing notices that
have been not listed. Ghosts of the Prairie has given WIX permission to
