take Hwy 23 south, crossing the bridge that spans the Wisconsin
River (now in Iowa County). Take a right on Hwy C, the maker
for the Taliesin is on the corner of Hwy 23 and Hwy C. The
house is easily visible from Hwy C after turning off from Hwy 23,
and the Taliesin's address is 5481 CTH.
Physical Description:
This beautifully designed and uniquely
shaped house is the creation of the brilliant architect Frank Lloyd
Wright. The Taliesin rests on a moderate wooded hill and
overlooks a small pond/lake.
Trespassing Notice:
This house and the land surrounding it
are private property, do not trespass.
Other Notes:
There are tours that go around the
property and through the house during the summer months.
