From Sauk City in Sauk County, take Hwy
12 south into Dane County. Springfield hill will be on
the right, as the road bends left, about a mile outside the township
of Springfield Corners on Hwy 12 (the hill is before this city).
There will be a farm with one silo on the left side close to the
highway.
Physical Description:
There are two small gently sloping
hills on the outskirts of the busy Hwy 12 between Sauk City and
Springfield Corners. There is a farm on one side that has one
silo and part of the farm's field is on top of one of the hills.
