June 28th, 2007: I got those updates rollin'.  Here's the scoop: news locations, all of Eau Claire County added to Wisconsin's Haunted Locations: Eau Claire: Allen Cameron House, Eau Claire: Banbury Place, Eau Claire: Carmike Cinemas of Oakwood Mall, Eau Claire: The Eau Claire Academy, Eau Claire: Fire Station Number 10, Eau Claire: Kjer Theatre, Eau Claire: Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire: Lowes Creek County Park, Eau Claire: Luther Hospital, Eau Claire: The Opera House, Eau Claire: Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire: Stones Throw, and Eau Claire: Vine Street.  For the rest of the summer session, another location road trip and some investigations are in the planning.  Hopefully these will pan out like catching pan fish.-Kyle

June 25th, 2007: Bam!  Update time again.  All of Dunn County's Locations are now in Wisconsin's Haunted Locations.  These locations are Caryville: Caryville Cemetery, Caryville: Caryville Church, Caryville: Caryville Schoolhouse, Caryville: Caryville Road (240th Avenue), Chippewa River by Caryville: Boat Landing of 240th Ave (Meridean), by Downsville on Hwy 25: Caddie Woodlawn Historical Park, Elk Creek: Elk Lake Dam, Elk Mound: The Over Look Tower, Menomonie: Devil's Punch Bowl, Menomonie: Mabel Tainter Theater, Menomonie: University of Wisconsin-Stout-Jeter-Tainter-Callahan Halls, and Menomonie: Wilson Place Mansion.  There are definitely some interesting places that have been added with this grouping.  Eau Claire County should added sometime next week-stay alert!-Kyle

June 22nd, 2007: Here comes the update train.  This update features new Wisconsin's Haunted Locations that are Ripon: Ripon College-C. J. Rodman Center for the Arts, Antigo: McMillion Hotel, Crivitz: Old School House, by Marinette: Bagley Road, Marinette County: McClintock County Park, Appleton: Appleton Curling Club, Appleton: Dairy Queen, Appleton: Hearthstone Mansion, Appleton: Huntley Elementary, Appleton: Kate Blood of Riverside Cemetery, Appleton: Lawrence University, Appleton: Secura Insurance Companies, Appleton: Zuelke Building, and Winnebago: Winnebago Mental Health Institute.  Some grammatical and other technical errors have also been fixed.  Thanks to people who emailed me with correct and relevant information; I have fixed some informational errors and added new information to many other pages in the Haunted Locations section.  Within the next few weeks, I hope to have Dunn and Eau Claire counties complete with every location filled in.  Peace out.-Kyle  

June 3rd, 2007: I can do it!  (another update that is)  Yesterday I have traveled to Antigo, Ripon, and Winnebago to take some pictures of some isolated locations; plus I photographed Appleton and places in northeastern Wisconsin.  Fifteen more locations will be added Wisconsin's Haunted Locations along with last week's places in Eau Claire.  I am still in search for anyone who knows the locations of Eau Claire that were mentioned in the previous update.  Stay tuned for some new location pages.-Kyle

May 28th, 2007: Just in time for a brief update; there is not much new to report on.  I have just finished a picture taking trip for Eau Claire and the surrounding area.  About 25 new locations will be added to Wisconsin's Haunted Locations within the next month.  I am also asking for help to find the location of two haunted places in the city of Eau Claire; these places are Devil's Hill and the Rope Swing that is downtown.  If anyone knows where these places are, please contact WIX immediately.  Thank you for the help- enjoy the beginnings of summa time.-Kyle

April 15th, 2007: Time for an update!  After a month of some thorough editing, I have read this entire web page through and fixed some major errors.  These errors were mostly grammatical; however, I did find some pages with the wrong information.  Everything is completely up to date for the first time in WIX's history!  I would also like to thank other paranormal investigation groups for taking interest in WIX and linking to our page.  With the start of this new season, WIX plans to perform one investigation and one trip for photographing locations for the Spring Session, stay tuned!-Kyle

March 4th, 2007: Another update for another day; those are always nice.  Here is the last addition to pictures in Wisconsin's Haunted Locations: Ashippun: Ashippun School, Eagle: Rainbow Springs Golf Course, and Lake Mills: Aztalan State Park.  All pictures that WIX has taken of locations have been added to the linked locations.  For the next month until the season opens, WIX will edit its webpage to fix any spelling, grammatical, or informational errors.  If anyone has spotted any type of error, please email WIX.  WIX is also looking for any ghost investigation groups or informative websites from any state that would like to link to WIX and vice versa.  Please contact WIX!-Kyle

February 25th, 2007: Just got a little update going on here.  There are new pictures added to these places: Almond: Spirit Land Cemetery, by Stevens Point: Blood/Woodville Cemetery, Rhinelander: St. Joseph's and St. Mary's Cemetery, Stevens Point: St. Peter Cemetery, Strum: Strum Cemetery, Hilbert: Hilbert Road, St. Nazianz: JFK Prep Grounds, Oostburg: Veterans Park, and Fond du Lac: Rienzi Cemetery in Wisconsin's Haunted Locations.  Next week will probably be the last week with more added pictures and perhaps more fun.-Kyle

February 18th, 2007: No rhyme this time.  I apologize for the long delay in updating.  I finished adding mini-maps to all the locations WIX has been to.  This feature can be found on all the linked locations under Wisconsin's Haunted Locations.  There still may be some minor problems with this feature, but it is mainly finished.  Hopefully this will help anyone who may attempt to travel to any of these locations or would like a general picture to where the location is found.  There are a few more links added in the Links section, another teammate added in the Team section, and a few editing errors were fixed.  I plan on going back to the old schedule of updating WIX weekly on Sundays with more pictures added to previously traveled locations.  Nothing like a little one of those once in a while.-Kyle

January 20th, 2007: Updating that page again.  This is one of many (I hope to update the page weekly) picture updates.  In an order effort to engage the fleet, WIX is changing its informal policy of only one picture per linked location in the links of haunted locations in Wisconsin's Haunted Locations.  Where it is possible and if I have extra pictures in the photo archives, I will be adding at least ten new pictures weekly of locations.  The locations where there are new pictures for this update are Hwy S (by Tomahawk): Calvary Cemetery, off Hwy E: Witch Road (Callan Road), Portage: Church Road Cemetery, by Stevens Point: Old Swenson (County Hwy II), by Stevens Point: Boy Scout Lane, Casimir: Red Bridge, Wild Rose: Tuttle Lake, Plainfield: Plainfield Cemetery, by Nekoosa: Greenwood Cemetery, and Rib Lake: Rib Lake Campgrounds.  There are five new linked locations under the Links section.  See ya'll next time with a rhyme perhaps.-Kyle

January 15th, 2007: Got one of those updates in my pocket...let me get this one out.  I would say this has been a pretty significant update; but of course, they all are.  For this update, I did WIX's yearly updating of its sources that we use to compile our Haunted Wisconsin Database under Wisconsin's Haunted Locations.  There were five new locations to bring Wisconsin's total number of haunted locations to 415.  These locations are Elms Road (Delavan), Train Station (Haugen), McMillion Hotel (Antigo), Holy Hill Cemetery (Milwaukee), and Ripon College-Rodman Center of the Arts (Ripon); all of these claims are from The Shadowlands.  WIX also added Shadowlands' stories for one of its traveled to locations: Greenbush: Wade House.  On November 4th, 2006 WIX listed that we performed a private investigation in Antigo (can be found under the 2006 Archived News).  This location that we performed the investigation at was actually the McMillion Hotel in Antigo; and because it is listed in The Shadowlands index, our investigation and a new page has been added in our index under Antigo: McMillion Hotel.  Lastly, I created a new linked page from our Wisconsin's Haunted Locations page that lists the locations that WIX has not listed in its database for various reasons; this page is called Locations Not Included in WIX's Database.  Also, there are five new linked sites in the Links section.  This update is one of those updates that should be properly investigated!-Kyle   

January 8th, 2007: Greetings and all of that.  After a week of working and updating this website,  there are some major improvements.  A new section has been added, the WIX Investigations section.  This can be accessed through the Evidence section, Wisconsin's Haunted Locations, or on any linked location that WIX has investigated.  In the Investigations section, there is a revisal of WIX's investigation, the procedure, and a description of case classifications.  I also overhauled WIX's old Official Paranormal Report with the new one that contains WIX's new procedure and has all the new equipment included; this can be viewed in the Evidence section under WIX Official Reports (it is the official copy).  I updated all of WIX's linked locations with the new WIX Investigation section for every location under Wisconsin's Haunted Locations.  This includes the 20 locations that have been investigated by WIX; hopefully this will clear up any ambiguity with prior investigations.  Lastly, with this page almost completed and all intended projects finished, I hope to update this page every week.  With these updates, I plan on adding more pictures to the linked locations that WIX has been to under the Wisconsin's Haunted Locations section.  Hope you enjoy the updates and keep visiting!-Kyle

January 1st, 2007: Wow, 2007... I don't believe it!  For the beginning of this new year, I have put all of last year's news and calendars under Our Mission section where it can be found under the Archived News heading for 2006.  I have also listed WIX's new 2007 schedule; this is located right below here.  This past week I have been working on adding all the mini-maps to the linked locations that WIX has been to under Wisconsin's Haunted Locations.  I have about 110 of those locations updated with the new mini-map feature.  These locations are mainly businesses where they have their address listed, as this gives me a direct finding on the larger state map.  For all those other non-address locations, it will take some time to find their latitudes and longitudes for these places.  WIX's new investigation report should be completed soon with our newly added equipment from 2006 and a new set of procedures.  Stay posted for many long-awaited updates.  Until then, have a great start to a brand new year!- Kyle
